Upon your arrival in Casablanca, you’ll be met in the airport by our professional, multilingual and experienced driver who will pick you up and show you around Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. During the first day of our Casablanca imperial cities 4 days, we will be visiting the vital places and monuments that contribute widely to the beauty and both cultural and historical importance of the city of Casablanca. The first thing to see in Casablanca is the Hassan II Mosque, one of the biggest and most beautiful mosques in the world, while it’s gorgeously positioned right by the shore of the Atlantic ocean, making it the most beautiful mosque in Africa because of its prestigious interior decorated with the finest Moroccan mosaic. You will be stunned with the astonishing decoration and magnificent architecture. In your private tour, we will also take you to discover Habous Market & Quarter, explore Casablanca’s Coastal Corniche and of course to a restaurant to get a tempting fresh sea-food dish for lunch. You will spend your first night of our Casablanca tours in a hotel in Casablanca.
After enjoying your breakfast in Casablanca, we’ll drive on our Casablanca tours to Rabat, The Capital of Morocco, where we will visit the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah and the Medina which was built on an orderly grid in the 17th century. From Rabat, we will head to the imperial city of Fes. Along the way, we will stop to visit Volubilis, which is the farthest Roman post south of Morocco, where you can witness the glory of the Roman Empire and enjoy the beautiful mosaic in the ruined mansions. We will also stop for lunch and a small visit in Meknes, one of Morocco’s ancient cities where we will stroll in its busy squares and Medina (Lahdim). We will be sightseeing all interesting places in the city including Mausoleum Moulay Ismail, Sahrij Souaniwe and Bab Mansour which is the biggest gate in Morocco. After lunch, we will carry on our journey to the imperial city of Fes where you’ll spend the second night of our Casablanca imperial cities 4 days tour.
On the third day of our Casablanca imperial cities 4 days tour, after breakfast, you’ll visit the Medina of Fes in a walking tour to its most famous attractions. The medina of Fes is a labyrinthine of over 9000 alleys, 12 centuries old and holds great importance to the Islamic and Arabic world. The most important Monuments that our Fes Medina walking tour will focus on are: Bab Bou Jeloud, "The Blue Gate" of Fez which is the most famous door of the Medina and beautifully decorated with traditional mosaic and carvings, gorgeous Andalusian-styled fountains including the Nejjarine fountain, The Qarawiyin university and Mosque which was the first university in the world according to UNESCO and is considered to be one of the biggest and most influential mosques in Morocco, Africa and the whole Islamic world, Medersas (Koranic school) and mosque which was founded as early as the 13th century and provides a great example of the beauty of the Arabic-Andalusian architecture and Mosaic, Batha Palace which is now a museum of arts and traditional handicrafts, Chouwara Tanneries which are symbolic to the city of Fes, Souks including Souk Attarine, one of the liveliest in the city where they sell a huge variety of spices and dry plants.
From Fes, we will drive to the blue city of Chefchaouen where you will spend the 3rd night of your Casablanca tours in a Hotel/Riad.
After breakfast, you can explore the gorgeous town of Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most famous touristic attractions. Much calmer and relaxing than Fes, Chefchaouen most striking feature is the blue paint that is coloring the walls of the Medina in different shapes of blue. Once you’ve entered the Medina of Chefchaouen you should start climbing to “Rass El Ma” which is a very famous water source on the top of a mountain, from which you can see most of the city and peruse its mountainous terrain. On your way to the top, you will come across the following monuments and symbolic buildings like Plaza “Uta el-Hammam” which is a square surrounded with cafes and restaurants, a peaceful place to relax and watch the world go by. In the square you will see the ‘’Kasbah’’ which dates back to the 18th century, a heavily restored walled fortress that now has a lovely garden on Chefchaouen. However, your trip is incomplete if you don’t visit “the Grand Spanish Mosque”, which was built in the 15th century. Before leaving Chefchaouen, you should try the delicious goat cheese which is special to that region.
After visiting Chefchaouen, our driver will take you back to Casablanca where he will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport.
