Day 1: Casablanca to Rabat to Volubilis to Meknes to Fes

With our Casablanca desert tours, you will experience a magical journey to the middle of the Moroccan Sahara desert. On the first day of our Casablanca desert tours 7 days, we will pick you up from your accommodation or from the airport to start this wonderful 7 days journey into the heart of the Moroccan Sahara. We will make a small tour in Casablanca, the economic capital and the most populated city of Morocco to explore its most important monuments and sites like the Coastal corniche and most importantly the Hassan II mosque which is one of the most important, biggest and most beautiful mosques of the Islamic world, famous for its lavish decoration, Arabic-Andalusian design. After enjoying your lunch in Casablanca, we will set off to Fes passing by Rabat, the capital of Morocco where we will visit the Hassan II tower and the king’s palace, the roman city of Volubilis and Meknes, The Ismaili capital where we will see the biggest door in Morocco, Bab Mansour and visit the lively Lhdim square and Mausoleum Moulay smail. Dinner and overnight in your traditional Riad in Fes.

Day 2: Guided Tour in Fes

On the second day of our Casablanca desert tours 7 days, you will have your delicious traditional breakfast before meeting our local guide who will show you to the most important sights and monuments in the imperial city of Fes by car to see the king’s palace doors, the Jewish neighborhood & synagogue and the northern tower. You’ll continue the rest of the tour on foot in a Medina walking tour in which you’ll explore the 12 centuries history and heritage of this city which is a labyrinthine of over 9000 streets. Our guide will take you through the narrow alleys of the Medina to provide you with much knowledge of the culture and the monuments of the city. The most important sites which you’ll visit in the Medina are the Qarawiyin mosque & university which was the first ever university in the world, the beautiful Medersa BouNania, the Chouwara Tannery. You’ll also visit the Nijjarine fountains and the Attarine souk & Medersa. You’ll have your dinner and spend the second night of your Casablanca desert tours in your Riad in Fes.

Day 3: Fes to Ifrane to Azrou to Midelt to Erfoud

Day 4: Erfoud to Merzouga to Erg Chebbi

After having your delicious breakfast, we will depart from Erfoud heading to Merzouga passing by many Berber villages on a desert road. Once you’ve reached Merzouga, you will meet our camel man who will take you on a camel ride on the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to your desert camp where you’ll get your traditional “Medfouna” dish for dinner and spend the third night of our Casablanca desert tours under the magical countless stars.

Day 5: Erg Chebbi to Merzouga to Toudgha Gorge to Dades Valley to Dades Gorge

Day 6: Dades Valley to Rose Valley to Skoura to Ouarzazate

After savoring your delicious breakfast, we will continue our Casablanca desert tours from Dades gorge through the beautiful Rose Valley and Skoura with its historical mudbrick castles and Kasbahs. Next on our journey, we will visit the cinematic city of Ouerzazate which has become a major attraction for movie makers from all over the world with its biggest studios in Africa “Atlas Studios” where the making of several great movies took place like Gladiator, Kingdom of heaven, Babel… and many tv shows like Game of Thrones. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in the Berber village of Telouet. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Ouerzazate.

Day 7: Ouerzazate to Kasbah Ait BenHaddou to Marrakech

On the seventh day of our Casablanca desert tours 7 days, after having your tasty breakfast, we will depart from Ouerzazate towards the final destination of our journey, the red city of Marrakech. On the road we will visit the most famous and the most beautiful Kasbah in Morocco, Kasbah Ait BenHaddou which is a Unesco-protected red mudbrick Ksar that seems to be frozen in time, still resembling its days in the 11th century as an Almoravid caravanserai. It is also famous for being a movie set for many iconic films like Gladiator, Jewels of the Nile and Lawrence of Arabia. After reaching Marrakech, our driver will drop you off at your accommodation or at your preferred place to mark the end of this brilliant desert tour.
