Day 1: Airport to Casablanca

With our Casablanca desert trips 8 days, you will get to rejoice a magical journey into the depth of the Moroccan Sahara desert. We will start our Casablanca desert tours 8 days journey by picking you up from you’re the airport to set off on a great 8 days journey into the heart of the Moroccan Sahara. Day 2: Casablanca to Rabat to Volubilis to Meknes to Fes

On the second day of our Casablanca desert trips 8 days and After enjoying your breakfast in Casablanca, we will take the road to Fes passing by Rabat, the capital of Morocco where we will visit the Hassan II tower and the king’s palace, the roman city of Volubilis and Meknes, The Ismaili capital where we will see the biggest door in Morocco, Bab Mansour and visit the lively Lhdim square and Mausoleum Moulay smail. After having lunch in Meknes, we will continue our Casablanca desert tours 8 days to Fes. Dinner and overnight in your traditional Riad in Fes.

Day 3: Guided Tour in Fes

On the third day of our Casablanca desert tours 8 days, you will eat your delicious traditional breakfast before meeting our local guide who will show you to the most important sights and monuments in the imperial city of Fes by car to see the king’s palace doors, the Jewish neighborhood & synagogue and the northern tower. You’ll continue the rest of the tour on foot in a Medina walking tour in which you’ll explore the 12 centuries history and heritage of this city which is a labyrinthine of over 9000 streets. Our guide will take you through the narrow alleys of the Medina to provide you with much knowledge of the culture and the monuments of the city. The most important sites which you’ll visit in the Medina are the Qarawiyin mosque & university which was the first ever university in the world, the beautiful Medersa BouNania, the Chouwara Tannery. You’ll also visit the Nijjarine fountains and the Attarine souk & Medersa. You’ll have your dinner and spend the third night of your Casablanca desert trips 8 days in your Riad in Fes.

Day 4: Fes to Ifrane to Azrou to Midelt to Merzouga to Erg Chebbi

On the fourth day of our Casablanca desert trips 8 days, after having your breakfast, we will be back on the road to Merzouga through the gorgeous and calm Middle Atlas Mountains passing by cities like “The Switzerland of Morocco”, Ifrane, well-known for its cold weather throughout the year and its European-styled buildings. We will also pass through the city of Azrou which is famous for its fine wood taken from the surrounding cedar forests that are inhabited by the playful Barbary Macaque monkeys. Azrou was once the capital of the Berber communities of the Middle Atlas. From Azrou, we will carry on our journey to the desert through Midelt, famous for its mineral richness and delicious apples. We will carry on to Merzouga passing by many Berber villages on a desert road. Once you’ve reached Merzouga, you will meet our camel man who will take you on a camel ride on the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to your desert camp where you’ll get your traditional “Medfouna” dish for dinner and spend the fourth night of our Casablanca desert trips 8 days under the magical countless stars.

Day 5: Erg Chebbi to Merzouga to Toudgha Gorge to Dades Valley to Dades Gorge

After an unforgettable night in the middle of the Moroccan desert with our Casablanca desert tours 8 days, you should get up early to enjoy the spectacular sunrise, when the color of the dunes combines with the shadows creating a mind-blowing sight. After having breakfast, you will ride camels for a couple of hours before going to Tinghir and Toudgha Gorge for lunch, where the orange limestones are separated by a 300m-deep fault creating a captivating sight. The road passes through Toudgha Valley. It’s a wonderful place for a walk, you can wander along the river, through the gardens or up the road on the other side of the gorge. Later, we will continue to Dades Valley and Dades Gorge through a beautiful road that passes by green palmeraies and Berber villages. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Dades gorge.

Day 6: Dades Valley to Skoura to Ouarzazate to Kasbah Ait BenHaddou to Marrakech

After savoring your delicious breakfast, we will continue our Casablanca desert trips 8 days from Dades gorge through the beautiful Rose Valley and Skoura with its historical mudbrick castles and Kasbahs. Next on our journey, we will visit the cinematic city of Ouerzazate which has become a major attraction for movie makers from all over the world with its biggest studios in Africa “Atlas Studios” where the making of several great movies took place like Gladiator, Kingdom of heaven, Babel… and many tv shows like Game of Thrones. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in the Berber village of Telouet before carrying on our journey to Marrakech passing by the most famous and the most beautiful Kasbah in Morocco, Kasbah Ait BenHaddou which is a Unesco-protected red mudbrick Ksar that seems to be frozen in time, still resembling its days in the 11th century as an Almoravid caravanserai. You’ll have delicious Tanjia dish for dinner and spend your night in a riad in Marrakech.

Day 7: Guided Tour in Marrakech to Depart to Casablanca

On the seventh day of our Casablanca desert tours 8 days, you will be met by our local guide after breakfast who will show you around the beautiful red city. We will be discovering the Red City of Marrakech. The pearl of the south. We will devote the whole morning to visiting to the Koutoubia mosque, the Saadian tombs, the garden of the Menara and Bahia Palace. Then we will get back to the hotel for a local lunch meal. In the afternoon, we will visit the souks, the Medina and spend the evening in the lively Jemaa El Fna square to enjoy the traditional folkloric shows and the different activities. We will savor a tasty dinner in Jamaa El Fnaa before heading back to the riad/hotel for a goodnight’s sleep.

Day 8: Marrakech to Airport

On the last day of our Casablanca desert trips 8 days, after having your delicious Moroccan breakfast, we will take off to the airport of Marrakech or Casablanca where our driver will drop you off, marking the end of a marvelous 8 days journey.
